Intermediate level requires solid knowledge of the basics. We recommend dancers take the beginner level at least twice before attempting to advance.

Swing dance is done as a partnership pair. One of the partners leads and the other follows. Historically, men led and women followed. Today it is common for either gender to lead or to follow.
